Answers to questions our customers frequently ask. For help with errors, see Troubleshooting.

How do I revise a single generated landing page?

Example: A rule generates pages for all categories and manufacturers. One of them should get its own SEO texts and images.

  1. Open Marketing → SEO Filter Landingpages and enable Show generated landingpages in the filter sidebar. Use the Generation rule filter to narrow the list to one rule.
  2. Find the page using the search field. It searches the page's texts, such as title and meta title, but not the URL. Search for the category or manufacturer name as it appears in the title.
  3. Open the page and select Detach. You can then edit it like a manually created landing page.

The URL and content are retained. Future runs skip this combination and do not overwrite your changes. However, the generator no longer updates a detached page. For example, it is not deactivated when no products are left. See Detaching individual pages.

Do I need a cron job for generated landing pages to appear in the shop?

No. Start the run on the active, saved rule with Run now. As soon as it shows as completed in the Log tab, the pages are reachable in the storefront. The console command repertus:seo-filter-landingpage:generator-run is just an alternative to this button.

Runs are processed by the Shopware message queue. Without a configured worker, the Admin Worker takes over, but only while the Administration is open in the browser. For the daily automatic run and long runs, scheduled tasks and a CLI worker should run permanently, see Automatic runs and workers.

Where do I find the ID of a generation rule?

Open the rule and read the ID from the browser's address bar:

…/admin#/tonur/landingpage-generation-rule/<rule-id>/general

In Shopware 6, IDs are 32-character identifiers, not sequential numbers. You only need the ID to start a single rule from the console. Use --all to start all active rules, see Using the console.

Can a rule automatically cover the entire product range?

Yes. It depends on whether you want one landing page per filter value for the whole shop or one per category and filter value.

One page per filter value for the whole shop: Select only your sales channel's entry category in the rule. Its listing contains all products from all subcategories. A rule with the manufacturer facet then creates, for example, a page "Manufacturer A" with all of this manufacturer's products in the shop. New products appear there immediately, including those from categories created later. Pages for new manufacturers are created with the next run.

One page per category and filter value: Select the categories you want individually, for example for "Ski goggles by Manufacturer A" and "Helmets by Manufacturer A". Clicking a parent category also selects its existing subcategories. Add categories you create later to the rule yourself.

Both approaches can be combined in one rule.

Do I need a separate Shopping Experience for each rule to show individual headings?

No. A shared layout can display each landing page's title and description through data mapping. Pattern templates generate these values during a run. Connect the heading element to SEO Filter Landingpage → Title, using the mapping path repertus_seo_filter_landingpage.translated.title. See Layout and slots.

What are the HTML and text fields in a rule's layout used for?

They configure elements of the assigned Shopping Experience for the generated pages. Static content is shared; mapped content displays each landing page's own data. Patterns can override layout content. Facet variables such as farbe belong to generator templates and are not automatically available in layout Twig. See Layout content of a pattern.

Can I remove a landing page's predefined filters individually?

Yes, with the plugin setting Landing page filters can be removed. Removing a filter leads to the category listing with the remaining filters. Without the setting, predefined properties, manufacturers and price limits define the landing page and are locked. Additional filters have a remove button; Reset all appears once additional filters are set and only removes those. Back to category opens the unfiltered category and can be hidden in the plugin configuration. See Filters on the landing page.
